Characters/Pairings: Ben Tennyson, Kenny Tennyson, Gwendolyn Tennyson, Devlin Levin, Kai Green, Big Chill's babies

Notes: The story is set in the original Ben 10,000 timeline, and it's actually a canon mash-up between the different series. The basic premise is that Big Chill's babies are now adults, and they've come to Earth in search of their "mom." The story's for the fandom_level challenge, and the prompts used are, "62. Canon, 70. Children, 227. MPREG, 338. Surprises".

This is my first Ben 10 fic, so I'm worried about characterization. I also need someone to check the SPAG, since I suck at spotting my own errors. Total word count is around 2,000 words only. If interested, please leave a comment or PM o/

I'd be in for beta-ing this. I am unfamiliar with Omniverse, but I know Ben 10 original series, Ultimate Alien and Alien Force REALLY well. As far as characterization goes, how are you justifying Kevin given that you're using the future from the original series but aliens and plot points from Alien Force? (not to mention Devin).

Actually, someone already beta-read it for me ^^;; (It's here if you want to see it.) For the Kevin thing, I didn't really get to expand on it much in the fic itself, but it's more or less "Kevin doesn't turn back into a human after the Ultimate Alien thing and Ben and Gwen are forced to deal with him."

But I've got a couple of other Ben 10 fics that I need to write for fandom_level. Would you still be open to beta them? Is there anything you're uncomfortable with beta-ing?

Glad you found a beta! It'd been a while since I was on dreamwidth so I was travelling back in time on my newsfeed. I guess I didn't look a the timestamp :)

I'd be happy to beta some of your other stories. I stay far away from incest of all kinds (I know that Ben/Gwen is relatively common in this fandom) and am a little uncomfortable with a large age-gap in a pairing (generally go with the half the eldest's age plus seven rule, but am accepting of a larger gap if it's not too glaring, I'm not sure if that's common in Ben 10 or not, I just know it to come up in fandoms involving teenage characters). Otherwise I'm pretty flexible. I can't promise to be particularly good at editing explicitly sexual scenes, but I can be quite detailed about characterization, plot, spelling and grammar.

Cool! I've got two more fics in the works; though one's set in Omniverse, the other can be set in Alien Force or Ultimate Alien.

Basically Kevin, Ben, and Gwen realize that there's actually a lot of inter-species shenanigans going on (what with all the half-alien kids running around) and kind of just thinking out loud how it would work between a human and an alien. Nothing explicit, probably PG-13 at the very most.

Not sure when I can finish it, but if you're cool with it, I'll PM you or something when I'm done?

Sounds great. I have a bit of a biology background (not currently working in a biological field, but I took the necessary courses) so you have me intrigued. :)

I may have mentioned that I'm unfamiliar with Omiverse. This is unlikely to be fixed as the jarring change in animation from Ultimate Alien and Alien Force to Omniverse hurts my brain. If you're cool with someone who's source of current canon is TVtropes and ben10wiki then I'm up for beta-ing the Omniverse fic too.

Great! I'm pretty sure I've got a handle on the Omniverse character I'm going to be using (a Tetramand princess they introduced) so it's all good :)
