Rating & Warnings: I'm super bad at ratings, but teen+, I think? Implied sexual content, nothing explicit, except some language. There are themes of slavery (Ancient Rome-style, though this is a fantasy story), age gap relationship (one party is 18, the other in his early 40s) and power imbalance. The main character is manipulative and domineering.

Notes: I'm ESL and my language might betray that, though some awkward phrasings are also stylistic. This is a fic for theunconventionalcourtship challenge where I have a due date the 6th of June, which means I'd like the fic back by the 5th of June. I know this is super short notice, but I didn't know this place existed and have been looking desperately among friends first.
